Hi friends,
Happy January! Can you believe it’s a new year? I pray it’s a wonderful one for you. As a fellow book lover, you can probably share my excitement about looking forward to all the new books that are being released during the year. I’ve taken time to check out a bunch and today I’m going to share my top three most anticipated read of 2019. It was such a hard choice to keep it at three books. In no particular order, here we go!
Sweet on You by Becky Wade
I’m always excited when Becky Wade has a new release. I haven’t missed one of her books yet. I adore her writing style and I describe it as classic romance with a modern twist. Her upcoming release is Sweet on You and it hits shelves in May. I know what my first beach read will be.
Britt Bradford and Zander Ford have been the best of friends since they met thirteen years ago. Unbeknown to Britt, Zander has been in love with her for just as long.
Independent and adventurous Britt channels her talent into creating chocolates at her hometown shop. Zander is a bestselling author who’s spent the past 18 months traveling the world. He’s achieved a great deal but still lacks the only thing that ever truly mattered to him–Britt’s heart.
You can find out more about Becky and Sweet on You here: Sweet on You.
The Printed Letter Bookshop by Katherine Reay
I absolutely adore Kathryn’s witty voice and deep lessons. If you haven’t read her yet, you absolutely should.
The Printed Letter Bookshop is an engaging story of good books, a testament to the beauty of new beginnings and a sweet reminder of the power of friendship.
You can find out more about Kathryn here: The Printed Letter Bookshop.
A Reluctant Bride by Jody Hedlund.
Jody is another of my go-to authors. She releases a book and I snatch it up. Emotional, heartrending and full of hope, Jody’s stories always linger long after I’ve turned the last page.
Living in London’s poorest slum, Mercy Wilkins has little hope of a better life. When she’s offered an opportunity to join a bride ship sailing to British Columbia, she agrees.
You can find out more about Jody here: A Reluctant Bride

Have a blessed week!

Great selections, Dani! I haven’t read Katherine Reay before, but that adorable book cover combined with your recommendation have me seriously intrigued. 🙂
I haven’t put the same thought into my selections as you have, but a couple of the books I’m looking forward to are The Number of Love by Roseanna White (I’m really excited about her codebreaker series) and A Return of Devotion by Kristi Ann Hunter (loved the first book in the series!).
Dani says
Ooooh. A codebreaker series sounds FUN. Will have to check Roseanna’s series out. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hugs,
Dani

I’m so excited for so many new releases! My top three are Storm Rising by Ronie Kendig, Brunch At Bittersweet Cafe by Carla Laureano, and Coral by Sara Ella!
Dani says
Oooh. Those sound good just by the titles alone. And, while I haven’t read the other two ladies yet, I adore Ronie. I do have one of Carla’s I’ve been dying to dive into. The Saturday Night Supper Club. What a fun idea for a series.
Heidi Robbins says
How to limit it to three?! You nailed it with your picks, all three and yours are on the top of my list! Some others that I can’t wait for are More Than Words Can Say by Karen Witemeyer, One Thing I Know by Kara Isaac, Healing Hearts by Sarah M. Eden, Daughters of Northern Shores by Joanne Bischof, and Knox by Susan May Warren.
Dani says
Oooh great titles, Heidi. I have a MUCH longer list, but wanted to spotlight three well and not make the post super long. Karen’s always on mine for sure. Love her heartwarming and humorous romances.
Rosalyn says
I loved reading this post!
I am currently listening to the audio version of Katherine Reay’s “Dear Mr. Knightley” and absolutely loving it…so I do have her newest high on my list of want to reads!!
I also can’t wait to read your new book!
And then there are many other great books coming out from some of my favorite authors….it’s hard to narrow it down! 🙂
I really can’t wait to read Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe by Carla Laureano
and Code of Valor by Lynette Eason.
And… I’d better leave it at that and stop now! 🙂
Dani says
Hi Rosalyn,
Love your enthusiasm for stories! So glad you stopped by.

I definitely have yours and Becky’s at the top of my list and am counting down the days! I’m looking forward to Jamie Jo Wright’s new one that comes out this month – The Curse of Misty Wayfair. And Finding Lady Enderly by Joanna Davidson Politano should be excellent as well.
Dani says
Yes! I’ve got Joanna’s first novel in my anxiously-to-be-read pile and need to catch up. I’m hearing wonderful things about her books!
Beverly Duell-Moore says
The Number of Love by Roseanna White, Secrets at Cedar Cabin by Colleen Coble and Refiner’s Fire by Joan Hochstetler. Although, are are many more I’m excited about. The three I mentioned are the ones I could remember off the top of my head.
Dani says
Great pics, Beverly!
Pam says
#1 Persian Gamble by Joel C. Rosenberg #2Code of Valor and #3 Irene Hannon Driftwood Bay
Kim Miller says
Can’t wait for your next book The Killing Tide, Code of Valor by Lynette Eason, and Collen Cobble’s – The Secret of cedar Cabin.
Ronya says
My top 3 most anticipated are yours, Becky’s and Karen’s!! 🙂
I’m also hopeful that Dee Henderson will have a new one out and that Melissa Tagg’s will release this year. If I knew those two would be happening, I’m not sure I would’ve been able to narrow it down to three. 😉
Debra P. says
Two of my most anticipated books are Becky’s and Katherine’s. I am also anticipating Denise Hunter’s next book.
