This week I’ve been in Nashville with several of my author friends at an author summit at our publisher, Thomas Nelson/Harper Collins Christian Publishing. This has been a great week to connect with my buddies, editors, and marketing team. I have been geeking out on the big picture and learning so much.
As authors, writing the book is only one piece of the process. Then we have to figure out the best ways to connect with you and help you know about our books. There are so many ways to do that. Reader events. Facebook. Amazon. Bookstores. Barnes & Noble.
There are so many great books coming out from this group of authors. Love historical? It’s coming. Regency? Yep, it’s on the way. Romantic suspense? Sooooo many great books. It’s an exciting time to be writing.
Curiosity question. How do you like to connect with writers?

Thanks for the information about your writer friends. I have already read and enjoyed books by Tamera and Colleen Coble, and of course, you.
I enjoy reading author posts and blogs, and connecting on Facebook.

Jen,
It’s so fun to do this as a group of authors, too. Makes it more enjoyable for everyone.

I enjoy reading this series of blogs. All of you tell interesting things about your lives and books as well as about the process of writing and getting a book published and on the market. I also enjoy face-to-face meetings where I can talk with the authors about their books and inspiration. Newsletters also provide insights and good info on sales and new books. I’m not much for Facebook or Instagram, though I have both. They are not my go-tos for connecting with others.
