New Book Release: Join the party if you can!

Hello reader and writer friends! Who doesn’t love a new book for Christmas? I sure do. I have two new books this year and I hope you will come to the release party, or order the book for yourself or a friend. Either way, I am thankful for each and every one of you, now as Thanksgiving approaches, and throughout the year.

If you live near St. Paul, Minnesota, I hope you will join me for the biggest night of my year. Book release parties are always a fun time of seeing old friends and learning about new books. Here’s a description of Whispers at Painswick Court:

Anne Loveday, a surgeon’s daughter, is determined to live a single, useful life. She is asked to serve as sick-room nurse to village matriarch, Lady Celia, who forbade her nephew to marry Anne’s sister years before. Pushing aside resentments, Anne moves into Painswick Court, a shadowy old house rumored to be haunted. Also in residence are Lady Celia’s spinster daughter, her handsome adult nephews, and a secretive new lady’s maid. Two local doctors visit regularly as well, one of whom admires Anne while concealing secrets of his own. As an escalating series of mishaps befalls her patient, Anne realizes someone is trying to kill the woman. But who? When Anne finds herself a suspect and her determination to avoid romance challenged, can she discover the real killer—and protect her heart—before it’s too late?

  1. Congratulations on releasing two books this year! I have already read and reviewed A Sea View Christmas – absolutely wonderful! I wanted it to keep going – love this family and series, and may want to reread after the new year. If I lived near you, I would be at your signing, but alas, I live in Virginia. Will be putting in my order. It sounds intriguing.
