As little as a decade ago, books (other than major bestsellers) had a few weeks or months on bookstore shelves, then any unsold copies were remaindered (meaning the author made nothing on copies sold at those bargain prices), and after that, the book was gone for good. Readers could only find them in libraries and garage sales.
With the advent of ebooks, books can remain available to readers long after lower demand would have had them emptied from warehouses. If the publisher and/or author choose, they could be available forever.
My books shown in the above graphic have all gotten a new life in Kindle ebooks, and they are all available now at a great low price. The books include a Christy Award winner, a RITA® Award winner, several RITA Award finalists, a Carol Award winner, and a Library Journal Best Book.
For $2.99, you can purchase any of the following ebooks (novels and novella collections):
- The Forgiving Hour
- Whispers From Yesterday
- The Shepherd’s Voice
- Ribbon of Years
- Here in Hart’s Crossing (individual ebooks below)
- An Idaho Christmas: Past and Present
- Catching Katie
- Speak to Me of Love
For 99 cents, you can purchase any of the following ebooks (all are novellas):
- A Wish and a Prayer
- Legacy Lane (Hart’s Crossing)
- Veterans Way (Hart’s Crossing)
- Diamond Place (Hart’s Crossing)
- Sweet Dreams Drive (Hart’s Crossing)
- Heart Rings
I’m trying to ready three more reader-favorite novels (Firstborn, Beyond the Shadows, and The Victory Club) for ebook publication. Hopefully I’ll have them ready to publish on Kindle before Christmas, but time will tell. I’ve got a crazy-busy schedule ahead of me with work on new books.
I hope you find a book or several books from the above list to enjoy.
