Hello. I hope you had a great Fourth of July. I thought it might be nice to take a thankfulness tour for the freedoms we hold so dear in our country. So here are some of the things I’m grateful and thankful for because I live in a country that I love and cherish.
Beautiful sunrises:
Interesting friends:
Those who forged our freedom:
Gardens that grow:
Those who protect us:
Pie!!!
Rainbows and hope:
Long and winding roads:
Church:
And magnolias:
What are you thankful for in life and in our United States? Here we are inspired by life and fiction because we love how fiction intimates life–the good and the bad of life. But we treasure God’s beauty and grace and thank Him for all things.

I enjoyed your pictures. I had to chuckle at the “Long and winding roads” shot. I like to take pictures of highways like that and my wife always wants to know why I take pictures of roads. I have never thought through the answer to her question but I suppose they intrigue me, make me wonder what lies ahead, etc. In you pic, the top of the hill has a faint resemblance to an owl’s head. I can relate to several of the other pics as well.

Thank you, Edward. That was taken in Nevada, near Las Vegas.
I like to imagine where roads will take us, too!

I’m thankful to live in a country that allows us the right to go to church and worship God. I’m thankful to God who by His grace has forgiven me and made me a child of God. I’m thankful for my church family . I’m thankful for my husband of almost 48 years. Thankful for my family and my extended family. I love to read and I’m thankful for Christian Fiction writers like yourself.
