One Week Till Release!

November 28, 2023 By Julie Klassen

In one week, my new novel, A Winter by the Sea, releases. It’s book two in my On Devonshire Shores series.

If you live near St. Paul, Minnesota, I hope you will join me for the biggest night of my year. Book Release Parties are always a fun time of celebration, seeing old friends, and learning about new books. Please join us! There will be refreshments and a fun gift for everyone who attends (while supplies last).

Tuesday, December 5th at 7 pm, Barnes & Noble, 2100 Snelling Ave N Roseville, MN.

Here’s a short description of the book: When the Duke and Duchess of Kent and their baby daughter (the future Queen Victoria) rent the neighboring cottage for the winter, the Summers sisters are called upon to host three of the royal couple’s male staff in their seaside house. But they soon realize they’ve invited secrets, intrigue, and romance into their home.

Praise for A Winter by the Sea:

“Chock-full of fun, everyday history, and witty repartee, Klassen delivers another sweet story.”—Library Journal

“[A] charming second entry in the On Devonshire Shores series (after The Sisters of Sea View) finds an aspiring novelist juggling her literary dreams and the attentions of two men. Enlivened by historical details of the royal family’s 1819 visit to Devonshire…This delightful installment is sure to satisfy Klassen’s fans.”—Publishers Weekly

“Grab a cup of tea and settle in for a deliciously delightful visit with the Summers sisters. In true Jane Austen style, author Julie Klassen pens another winner set on the Devonshire shore. A truly satisfying historical romance!”—Michelle Griep, award-winning author
