Another brainstorming retreat has come to an end. We work hard at this retreat. We play hard at this retreat. And we pray hard at this retreat.
This was retreat #16 for the majority of us. We have been the same 11 for about 7 years. Since our first year (2003) we have added four new members and said goodbye to three. And every year, these sisters of my heart become more and more dear to me.
Since my book is due in about three seconds (okay, not quite that soon), I am settling for photos from the retreat for my blog post. Enjoy!

Brainstorming session in the morning, and I’m always freezing so zipped up in my hoodie with a blanket on my lap.
In downtown Coeur d’Alene, we discovered a shop with costumes. Fun!! I went for the big hat from yesteryear.
And never turn down wearing a cute mask!!! That’s me in the middle with Tamera Alexander and Sunni Jeffers.
Some of our “tribe” like to hang out with a moose every now and then.
So pretty!!!

What fun. I know so many of you! Waving to Sharon Dunn!! (We’re in a continuity together!) There is nothing like a good writer’s retreat! You all make me happy with your talent and your faith and your smiles. Glad you have this tradition each year. I’ve been on a few beach retreats now that I’m live on the Gulf. God has given us lots of beautiful places for inspiration.
