If you do, then you’re likely a fan of Fixer Upper with Chip & Joanna Gaines. I LOVE THIS SHOW! My daughter got me started, and I’m hooked.
For those of you who watch Fixer Upper, what’s your favorite thing about the show? For me, I’m flat enamored with how Joanna can just see things as they can be. My creative bent only goes so far, and I have a hard time visualizing decor and renovations. Plus I just love that woman’s style and how she decorates. I saw this old crate and before I knew it, it was coming to live at my house. Check out some cute bloopers with Joanna and her husband, Chip.

And to think, the Creator of the Universe, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Great I AM who painted this dusky sky is the same Most Holy One who loves you and me endlessly and who wants his best for our lives. Not just “the” best. But his best. That’s like the best of the best on steroids!

Anything from Chick-fil-A! But especially their kids meal with the ice dream cones. Be still my beating heart…
Thanks to the sweet friend (you know who you are!) who gave me this. I’ve got $1.46 left and am relatively certain it’s going to be spent on a kid’s cone….tomorrow!

I am a mama of two kids, ages 3 going on 13 and the other 9 months and neither are good sleepers. My recent favorite thing is coffee with International Delights Coldstone Creamery coffee creamer, because if I can’t have sleep, melted ice cream in my coffee is the next best thing.
Oh. My. Word. I think I just drooled, Laurel. LOL!
Mu favorite is my baby who is 9 months today!!!! Shes getting so big and is such a blessing!!!!
One of my favorite things recently was listening to my daughter talk and laugh with her best friend whom she doesn’t get to see often.

My favorite thing right now is watching my little 8 month old sit on the floor and “talk” to all of her friends (toys)!!

I too recently saw a sunset that was so beautiful. I was inside so didn’t get a picture 🙁
I think my most favorite thing is the grandchildren’s’ faces and their running to me lighting up when they see me. What joy!
Of course, having time to curl up w/ a great book is a favorite too.

My new favorite thing happens to be writing. I love to write and put words on paper. Although, I do love reading just as much….
My recent fav thing was a trip to the Outer Banks and taking pictures of Bodie Island Lighthouse, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and Currituck Lighthouse. But the best part was that I was able to climb all three to see the view from the top. I enjoyed your pictures of fav things.
Nice, Edward! I’ve never been to the Outer Banks. But the pictures I’ve seen are gorgeous. Surely some of God’s most beautiful handiwork. And just think, if it’s that beautiful here, what will heaven be like? Beyond our finite imaginations…

My favorite things are taking things and making something out of them. Example I had three stacked boxes that cocoa came in that we’re gold with snowflakes. I painted them with flat, black paint, tied them up with twine and added a big button on the top.

Dear Tamera, Thank you for asking. Just yesterday I told someone that one of my favorite words is “anomaly.” Only 7 letters long yet 4 syllables. It just rolls off the tongue. That what I feel like as a Christian living in this world. Christians (Christ followers) are an anomaly. Something different. Something totally other. Jesus was an anomaly. The Pharisees did not like Him because they could not fit Him into their box. May I today be okay with being different. Anomaly.

My recent favorite is an old favorite. After three months of summer vacation, we’re back in school. My favs are some of the kids that I help. I love watching them grow and learn and am joyful when they want to learn about the Lord. And I recently discovered peanut butter M&M’s! Chocolate . . . sign me up! Thank you for your giveaway!

Our local library system is my new favorite thing!!! We don’t live in town so I was dragging my feet thinking we wouldn’t go often enough to make it worth our while to pay the nearly $60 annual fee. BUT, we can use our card at ANY local library, order books online, and return any book to any location. Why didn’t anyone tell me this? I am going to exceed my reading goal of 300 books this year and got my hands on many titles I wouldn’t have been able to afford otherwise.
And I love Chip and Joanna and obviously, giveaways too 😉

I love all of your favs & we have the love of all things Chick-fil-A in common! 🙂 A recent fav of mine is inspiring quotes! I’ve recently bought a journal & every time I hear or see a quote that moves me I hurry & write it down so I can look back at it when I’m needing to feel uplifted/inspired!
So many fave things!! One always has to be a new book/novella from one of my fave authors, another is traveling to see new (to me) places in God’s beautiful world, a cup of tea & a pumpkin snack, the sights, smells, events. & tastes of Autumn, a new CD from my fave Christian music group – I could go on & on. Often the smallest things are some of the greatest blessings/treasures.
I love all of the things you mentioned – I recently enjoyed a post by Joanna Gaines re: God’s plan for her life, I love that she’s not afraid to discuss her faith. That goes for the owners of Chick-fil-A and their stand for their religious beliefs, also. Love their food too!!
YES to that post by Joanna about her faith, and also about God’s timing in the show and her career. So cool. God’s timing is perfect!

LOL on the lip glass, Dana. And donuts of any kind, sadly, are among my most favorite things too. I just wish they had the nutrition of broccoli, which I’m SURE they will in the new heaven. Just sayin… Or!! Maybe broccoli will taste like donuts there. Either works for me.

So many recent favorite things, but can I mention two because they are equally wonderful? My husband bought me a lovely quilt throw from Cracker Barrel that pairs so nicely with my second favorite current thing, a historical romance book I’m reading. It’s soooo good, and cozying up with it, while under that throw quilt just makes me happy all over. Thanks for the great giveaway opportunity. And…I LOVE Chick-Fil-A!!
We share many favorites!! A new fav I have is crocheting. And I can’t leave out fall, coffee, farming, sunrises, family, and boots.
Right now it’s the smell of the autumn leaves, Kristi Ann Hunter’s novel A Noble Masquerade, and sending Jacquie Lawson e-cards.
Favorite things? Traveling to Poland and doing genealogy, and having the grandkids stay overnight and watching the grandkids in sports and other activities.

There are these little Payday candy bites that come in a tube type package that is my new favorite. Only problem is they are hard to find. A song that’s not new but came to my mind one day, I downloaded it and listen often, “O the Blood”. And my new “bionic knee” that’s still causing me pain but I’m thankful for.

My favorite thing of all time is making handmade items. Mainly I crochet, scarves, baby blankets, afghans, prayer shawls, etc. I also make all my Christmas gifts: ornaments, aprons, pillows and even a quilt.
One of the best (& one of the biggest in the USA) Fall Festival celebrations is occurring this entire week. Rides, games, & food booths. Homemade fudge, chicken & dumplings, bbq goat, fried brain sandwiches, cricket pops, etc. The money goes to local charities. You’ll come & have some fun!
My mom & myself ONLY read Christian fiction books. She will sometimes read 2-3 books a week. We would love to receive your giveaway, read them, & pass them on to others. Thanks again we love your books!

Three favorites of mine: Fall -I love everything about it. Cross stitching – I started a new project last week. I had forgotten how much I love to cross stitch while watching football. And spaghetti with homemade sauce. Yummy!
Recently, I have been watching this TV show: Chicago Fire. I have never had so much respect for firefighters before (even though I know there is a bit more drama than in reality). To put your life on the line like that is worthy of our respect. So that’s my recent favorite TV show!
One of my favorites is fall scented soap and candles. Love the scent of fall, wrapped in a blanket reading a good book!
Well, if you asked my mom, she’d say that everything was my favorite, as I tend to blurt that out whenever I see/hear…etc. something that I like. I love Fall! Truthfully though, I’ll just have to limit myself to three things. #1. Although I had to be given a gentle nudge towards teaching our Wednesday night class, it is now high on my list of favorites. I LOVE researching and thoroughly enjoying teaching our class of 5th & 6th graders. I don’t have full-time responsibility there as my mom, brother, and I teach on a rotation basis. However, when both were under the weather last week, I was left in complete charge of the class. #2. “Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it…” I am so very thankful for the way that God provides and works in my life. After church last Wednesday, we were seconds away from being in a head-on collision, but God helped my dad to avoid both cars in our path. I am learning to appreciate the value of a day. It’s a new favorite thing of mine. #3. I am thankful for the encouragers in my life and I don’t know where I would be without them. When I was singing/playing the special this past Sunday morning, I had to deal with a microphone that kept falling down. As I was playing, I noticed that someone had come up and sat beside me. After that, I didn’t have any more trouble and I thought that the whole thing was ironic as the song that I was singing was called “God Wants To Hear You Sing”. #3.5 The feeling one gets as they open up a new book or listen to a song that really speaks to them…FAVORITE! We love Fixer Upper! So ready for the new episodes! I’ve been running again and to get it done before Connor gets up means I’m out the door by 5:30. I love looking up at the stars, and the last couple days, Venus has been so bright!
I absolutely adore Connor’s laugh. I know every mom says it, but he has the sweetest laugh in the world. He can brighten my day with his laugh.
Hot chocolate…pizza…all the yummy stuff. Blasts from Sonic (Reese’s for the win!) and so many things I’m not allowing myself to indulge in…often…
Oh, and if we’re talking shows, I also love Love It or List It! I love watching Hilary and David’s interaction throughout the show.

After many years of looking at the same bedspread, one that I loved for a long time, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a new set. It is amazing how I love to make up the bed now! It is reversible so now I have even more variety now when I walk through our bedroom. It’s my new fav now!
One of my friends recently made Snickerdoodle cupcakes and they are delicious!Yellow cake with cinnamon mixed in and cream cheese icing sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. I’d love to have one everyday but my waistline wouldn’t!
I am a coffee lover and one of my recent favorite items is my new Keurig. I use it every day and thoroughly enjoy it.
I have 15 favorite things–my 14 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. They are so awesome. I love it when we can all get together for fun times. They have so much fun with each other, too. My favorite “chore” these days is driving up to the mountains with my hubby to help my widowed aunt prepare to move. Great alone time in the truck with my fav traveling buddy, listening to old family stories as auntie sorts through memories, beautiful Arkansas scenery. Ahhh.
The song “I Bowed On My Knees and Cried Holy” performed by the Gaither Vocal Band with Michael English as the lead singer for this song. So moving and powerful. Has moved me to tears as I remember that someday I will see Him, the One who died for ME!

My favorite thing right now is being able to travel this time of year.I love the fall and being able to see the leaves changing colors. We just got back from a trip to Memphis Tennessee to see my husband’s family. My husband’s cousin just got inducted into his communty college, Northwest Mississippi, sports hall of fame for his basketball career from 1994-1996. It was a very nice ceremony.
I also enjoy pumpkin pie, coffee, and reading Christian fiction. Thank you for the giveaway! I really enjoyed this post.
This is my favorite time of the year, and my favorite thing to do is take walks with my granddaughter. I love making memories with her!
My favorite thing is spending time with my family. I am a recent breast cancer survivor and this experience made me think how precious my family is and how fleeting our life on Earth is. I am now 100% cancer free, but I still Praise God everyday for blessing me with a wonderful husband, daughter, son-in-law, and numerous extended family members!
Favorite things? Hmm… Celtic music and otters and puffins and chocolate and NaNoWriMo. 🙂
A recent favorite: Scottish breakfast hot tea! I’ve always loved English and Irish breakfast, but Scottish has a little different flavor that’s so good! 🙂

I’m also loving Junk Gypsies, Toby Mac’s newest songs, and my latest thing is finding things I can buy for Christmas as gifts that support orphans, those who are adopting, or women who have come out of human trafficking. It’s made Christmas shopping so fun and meaningful!
Two of my new favorite things are Artiste art pens and adult coloring books. SO relaxing, especially to worship music.
I love fall in general, but particularly love turning on my fireplace on cool fall evenings and visiting apple orchards (yummy apple cider donuts and warm apple cider!). As far as music, I’ve been really into NeedtoBreathe lately. And of course, being the Wisconsin girl that I am, gotta love my Badger and Packer football games 🙂

My absolutely favorite thing right now is not a thing! He is an amazing, beautiful, sweet new grandson, named Caleb Elijah.

I love and collect hand painted slate roofing tiles. I have an extensive collection including snowmen for January, a gingerbread man and a santa for Christmas, scarecrows and pumpkins for the fall months, a turkey, several featuring apple motifs, an Easter design, an old fashioned little red schoolhouse, an Amish scene, a few saltbox houses, an Americana design and several of them were painted by my father who is a fabulous artist. A couple of months ago, on the recommendation of several friends, I bought a Clarisonic . . . and I see what all the fuss is about! My face feels so smooth. It was a belated birthday indulgence (and I found a great deal online)!
My favorite thing to do is read Christian fiction. My favorite TV shows are Fixer Upper, The Pioneer Woman, and some of the shows on Masterpiece. Chocolate will always be a favorite!
I good night’s sleep…. I good book. I beautiful sunny day. My fur babies..Max, Peanut and Toby. I pretty cross stitch design I have finished.
It’s a toss up between swimming and reading. As I was swimming today I literally worked on figuring out how to do both at the same time.
A recent favorite dinner theater production was “Mary Poppins.” It was outstanding and had a good message, too!
Recent fave is learning golf. My husband got me hooked on watching, but only recently did I participate in the sport. I am completely in love with it. It’s not as easy as I’d thought!

Now that football season is upon us, it’s my favorite right now…lol!! Also a new favorite….reading & reviewing for authors….like I’m giving some small portion back to them for their hard work!
My recent favorite thing was hearing my 2 year old grandson singing “yummy, yummy, I’m a butter baby” My daughter had to tell me that she went to the basement to turn off the washer so she could put him in the bath (their house is 115 years old & can’t get warm water in the tub if the washer is going) she came back upstairs and heard the baby singing his little song, went into the kitchen to find that he had opened the newly purchased pack of butter and smeared it all over himself. Another MOST favorite thing happened a couple of weeks ago, a Chick fil-A opened 2.2 miles away from my house!!! October is also my birthday month, I have always thought of the changing colors of the trees a fantastic birthday gift.
My favorite things are the beautiful fall leaves and my four grandchildren (soon to be five!). I am blessed.
One of my favorite things lately was my daughters coconut cake! It was delicious!I didn’t know she could cook that good! My other favorite thing is my youngest grandson (2yrs.old) has just started crawling in my lap and just staring into my eyes for the longest time then wants to kiss me on the cheek and then crawls down like its nothing. It melts my heart!
My favorite ice cream is chocolate
I think my favorite candy would have to be Snickers. I love their crunchiness and chocolatyness (if that’s even a word😁) you know? Also, I am a huge fan of oversized chairs they’re so comfortable!
My newest favorite thing is a pie safe. Actually it was the first piece of furniture my husband and I bought. We were newlyweds living in married housing at Tennessee Tech. We paid $5 for it at an antique auction. Darold gave it to his brother many years ago. In honor of our 44th anniversary this year he bought new shelves for his brother and I have my old pie safe back. It’s now storing my books in the spare bedroom. Sorry I am not able to upload a picture of it on my Kindle.
I love, love, love your favorite things. The Magnolia Farms really grabbed me as the name of our business is Magnolia Brush! That beautiful sky that was painted by the hand of God took my breath away. I wish we lived close, I know we could get into trouble at antique stores. I know you don’t remember me but my daughter, Britney and I met you at RT. You asked if she and I were just good friends and how long we had known each other.
