Snapshots

July 15, 2025 By Tamera Alexander

The pictures we take say something about us and our lives. For better or worse—and at the risk of oversharing—here are the last seven pics on my iPhone. : )

CLIFFORD, Kelsey’s dog, with a brand new collar. We think he likes it…

Then again, maybe not…

Yet hope remains…

And…I think we’re good.

Clifford is what some might call a “foster fail.” But I call him a FOSTER FLOURISH! Our daughter decided to start fostering dogs, and just couldn’t give him up. They changed each other’s lives forever. 🙂

I love being able to check on the grands when they’re sleeping. Even if I can only see their feet.

Or if their sleep position resembles a chalk outline. LOL

The following image is from a screen grab of a video I watched. I saved it because it’s true. We grow so much more through adversity than easy times. If you’d like to watch the entire video, here you go!

So what have you been snapping pictures of lately? And what will they tell us about you? : )

Happy Tuesday from Nashville, friends,

Tammy

Of the last 7 pics on my phone, two are of the pretty bouquet my youngest daughter gave me from her flower garden, the last five are from a quick trip to Illinois this morning (just across the river from us) to get some work done on our camper. It was a beautiful drive and we shopped in two antique stores before we came home.

What?! None of your 47 precious grands?! WHAT?!!! 😉 Wish I could have joined you in those antique shops and, having seen Tav’s garden, I can well imagine that gorgeous bouquet! 💜

Hilarious and too true about the last seven pictures: 1 daughter, 1 grandchildren, 1 me with yummy ice cream treat on vacation, 3 historical information signs (I just MIGHT want to research more), 1 river scene (always something with nature). Usually mine will be split between the dog, grandkids and lots of nature/sky shots.

LOL, Susan, love this. Especially the ice cream. Ice cream is always worth remembering. 😉

Last seven pictures: me and my sisters, my son’s dog, and the other five are our last visit to Fenway Park a few days ago with our daughter.

Family pics are the best! And Fenway Park…what a fun trip together. Thanks for sharing today, D’Ann.
