First, new covers for an older series…
I’m reissuing this three-book series (originally released 2008-2010) and am thrilled that they’re getting new covers.
Our own Deb Raney’s husband Ken (Raney Day Creative), who is a fabulous designer and collaborator, is designing these covers for me. The man has the patience of Job—at least in his emails. Deb might tell another story since she can hear him from his office downstairs to hers on the main. : }
It was my first time to see MidJourney AI in action. Talk about an eye-opening experience into the world of AI graphics. I think Ken did a wonderful job of creating, designing, and bringing everything together. From a Distance, Book 1, (re)releases in September, followed quickly by book 2 (Beyond This Moment) and book 3 (Within My Heart).
Next, our granddaughter Ari is already seven months old! I know I’m biased, but she’s just so precious and is at such a fun age. Although every stage with these grands has been delightful.
Her older brother Leo (19 months old and pictured below with our son Kurt) is pure joy, too. Joe and I keep them every Tuesday and Thursday and love every minute.
Lastly, Kurt and Kellie are building a house—just down the street from us! Can you say DREAM COME TRUE! We recently wrote on their unfinished floors and 2x4s, much as we did in our house a few months back. (The last pic bottom right is Leo’s…with some help.)
So if you were to post some snapshots of recent life, who or what would be in your pictures? Friends? Family? Anybody been doing some fall baking early? Been anywhere fun lately? I’d love to hear!
Blessings from my corner of Nashville,
Tammy

Love your new cover even if I might be a bit prejudiced toward both the cover designer and the story inside. 😊 Can’t wait to see how the rest of the series covers turn out!
And those little lion cubs are adorable. So thrilled for you that they will be living so close to you! Such a blessing!

LOL Thanks, my friend. And thanks for sharing in the grand JOY! 😉

Love the new cover. I discovered your books after that series, so I need to go back and read those!
How fun to get to have your grandkids down the street! Hooray!

Thanks, D’Ann! They’ll be on KU, if you have that. And thanks for reading. Your grands are adorable!

Hi Tammy, great new cover! I love that series. Your grandkids are so cute! What a blessing that they will live so close when their new house is ready!

Thanks, Carrie. It’s SOOO nice to get those outdated covers long gone. And yes, what a blessing on the “close grands” indeed. Still pinching myself.

Love the new cover!
The grands are absolutely adorable! So happy for y’all that they’ll be down the street, such a blessing.
My pictures would also include grands. I keep our granddaughter Laurel on Mondays so our DIL can go to her weekly doctor appointment (due this month with baby girl #2) and run errands or whatever she needs to do without having a toddler in tow, especially when it’s 108.🥵 So lots of pics yesterday, some she took of herself. ☺️

Thanks, Celia! And love it that your pics would include grands too. Praying for your DIL and baby #2! ; )

How fabulous that you’re recovering and re-issuing that series, Tammy! The first cover is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see the other two covers. I’m cheering you on!

Your new cover is gorgeous. Kudos to Ken. Since I haven’t read this series, I will have to get it.
Love the pictures of your grandchildren, who are growing up so fast.
Recent pictures I would post would be of my granddaughter celebrating her 17th birthday last Saturday, although her birthday isn’t until Sept 1st. She chose the song Dancing Queen by ABBA as her theme. Her mother baked a gorgeous cake. It was such a a joy to see her so happy celebrating with 15 wonderful friends.

Yes, Betty, they ARE growing up so fast, and I’m determined to enjoy every minute I have with them. Tuesdays and Thursdays are such fun days.
LOVE Dancing Queen! Always have. What a blessing to see your granddaughter turn 17! So happy you were able to be there. You’re a gift to them, I already know. Hugs to you!

Thank you always for such kind responses to me, Tammy. Love you.

Love you, too, friend. Glad we’re on this journey together.

You have beautiful grandchildren! You can never spoil them too much, this is coming from a grandmama that believes in spoiling them and sending them home. My youngest daughter, her husband and 3 of my grands live next to me. My oldest daughter, her husband and my other 3 grands live about 20 minutes away. It’s a blessing to have them close since my husband passed away three years ago today. So all of my new pictures now are of my oldest grandchild, a girl, wedding showers. She is getting married in September. I’m excited for them but I’m so sad her granddaddy won’t get to be there. He would have had a lot of fun teasing her.

Your Timberidge series of books are great and I’m glad to see they will be reissued – although I liked the original covers a lot. But I suppose changing the cover design before reissuing them will help! (Readers need to know about your books if they don’t!!) You are such a talented author!! All of your books are great and I have read most of them, including your recent contemporary book (set in two centuries).
