Hello. I’m so happy that spring is finally here. Even though it’s windy here in Florida, at least it’s not horribly cold. I pray the rest of the country will soon have some spring weather, too. Those continuing snow storms have caused enough trouble. My prayers go out to all of you who have been hit by these storms.
Life does throw storms our way at times. This is a bittersweet post for me since it will be my last one here with these other special ladies. I’ve so enjoyed my time here sharing life and faith with all of you. I love my readers and appreciate all of you. But sometimes, we have to step back and take a breather. This past year has been kind of tough on me. I’m okay but I have a bad back that just won’t behave and I’ve had some other distractions crowding into my life. So I’ve decided to let go of some things so I can focus more on a slower pace. I’m blessed to have books to write but back-to-back deadlines can really take their toil at times. So I’m going to slow down and try to focus on my blessings. I’ll miss this group but I’ll check in from time to time. I’ve know Robin Lee forever and I’ve gotten to know the rest of these wise women through conferences, publishing houses and this blog. (And by reading their lovely, inspiring books, of course.) Maybe I’ll see some of you out there at conferences and signings. I hope so.
I wanted to leave all of you with some special images I’ve captured in my life. Writing has allowed me to travel to some wonderful places. Here are a few of my favorite ones. I’m sure you have special memories of places you’ve been. I’d love to hear about them. God’s world is amazing. I’m thankful I’ve been able to share some of my happy times and book celebrations here with all of you. Visit me online and let’s keep in touch. I’m on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Hope to see you there! Until then, you have my love through Christ.

A palm tree somewhere in Florida. I have always loved palm trees.
Memories of Grande Isle, LA, where I went to help rebuild a Methodist Church after Hurricane Katrina. (And came up with a book idea!)
New York City, another kind of island!

I have some many pictures and so many memories of good times. Thank you all for allowing me to spend time here with you!!!
