I’ve been fortunate because audiobooks have been created and made available for each of my novels. Here’s how that went down…. Bethany House bought the rights to the novels. Then they sold the subsidiary audiobook rights to Recorded books. Then Recorded Books produced the audiobooks by selecting the narrators, directing the recording, handling the sound editing, etc. Then Recorded Books released them.
Only one audiobook of mine is an exception to that process. I produced the audiobook for Then Came You (my romantic, epistolary novella) myself. I chose the male and female narrators. I was able to collaborate with them and make adjustments. I loved every part of the process and am especially proud of how Then Came You’s audiobook turned out. I still have a voice crush on professional fondness for the male narrator.
I’m blogging on this topic today because it’s on sale for 99 cents at Chrip until the end of September! Click here to snag the deal.
But that’s not all!
If you’re familiar with audiobooks, then you know they’re expensive. They retail for upwards of $25. Almost all of my novels are on sale at the moment for between 75-85% off.
Two of my Bradford Series novels (in audiobook form) are currently on sale at two different places — Audible and Audiobooks.com. If you don’t want to join Audible’s subscription service, then Audiobooks.com is a great option.
And most of the rest of my backlist titles (in audiobook form) are also enjoying amazing sale prices at Audible . . .
I’ve become a huge fan of audiobooks. How do you feel about them? If a fan, what app do you use for listening? Have you listened to any of the above books?

I’ve grown to love audiobooks. I usually have one going all the time now. I use Audible mostly but do have some on other apps. I like Audible because when I purchase the e-book, I can get the audiobook at a discount. I use audiobooks as a way to re-read my favorites so that works out well for me. I have all of your books on audiobook (well, the ones that are available so far… hint hint!), but you won’t be surprised to know I’ve listened to one more than the others. 😉

“I like Audible because when I purchase the e-book, I can get the audiobook at a discount.” This is a great feature! It’s also handy for those who don’t like to be reading one book while listening to another. With WhisperSync they can toggle between listening and reading one book.

Now that I spend a LOT more time driving than I used to, I’ve started listening to audiobooks. If I didn’t, there’s no way I would have enough time for reading. I’m usually able to listen to at least 60-90 minutes per day, and it definitely makes my rides to and from work much more enjoyable. 🙂 I currently use Scribd since they have a HUGE selection of Christian fiction audio and ebooks available.

I’m glad Scribd has such a wide selection of Christian fiction! And I LOVE audiobooks for passing the time (and upping “reading time”) while driving.

I LOVE audiobooks! I listen while doing housework, driving, and walking. (I also turn the speed up to 1.15. 🫣) And I have read/listened to every one of your books. Some multiple times. ❤️

Thank you for listening to my books! My audiobook style is a lot like yours. I listen while doing those same activities and I also slightly increase the speed. 🙂

I’m a huge fan of audiobooks. I am just about to complete my 100th book of 2022, and almost all of them have been audiobooks. I use Audible and Scribd for the majority of my listening, but I also have some books in Chirp. Audible’s September sale has allowed me to get a whole bunch of books in my Wish List at well below what I pay for my membership credits. I’m set for a while. And yes, several of your books are in my Audible library.

This sale is amazing! I’m so impressed that you’ve read 100 books in ’22. Bravo!
