Help! Retitle My Book Giveaway

July 26, 2018 By Cara Putman

In 2012, Barbour released A Wedding Transpires on Mackinac Island as part of one of their fiction lines. I love this story. It's set on one of my favorite places to escape and combines a blend of romance and suspense. In many ways, it was my first foray into the full length story telling like the Hidden Justice series. It was well received by readers, and about a year ago I got the rights back to … [Read more...]

Exploring Italy

July 12, 2018 By Cara Putman

My family and I returned last week from a stint in Rome. We were there so I could lead a study abroad. This wasn't our first time, but it was our first time to live in Rome for two weeks. It was a delightful trip for many reasons -- but it's also why I missed my last post. You see, I left my computer at home, which means I didn't have my account passwords. Yesterday I spent about four hours in my office at Purdue, but instead of grading or prepping for classes, I was writing. I wish I could pretend it was a pretty process. All you have to do is look at these photos to see … [Read more...]

What are You Reading?

April 26, 2018 By Cara Putman

As a voracious reader, my to-be-read pile never stops. Literally it is towering beneath my desk and next to my bedside...and on a bookshelf. And you get the idea! I love books too much. No. That's not possible. I simply need a vacation to read all the books I have stockpiled. Yes, that's better. [Tweet "What's on your #TBRPile? @Cara_Putman shares some of her recent reads and a … [Read more...]
