Be still and know…..

December 16, 2015 By Lenora Worth

For some reason, this blog and I don't get along very well. I post twice per month and it's always a challenge for me to get to through the dashboard. But somehow, I always find my way here after several tries, trying different combinations and praying a lot. Because writers are committed to always Showing Up!!! We don't like missing deadlines or missing blog posts. Words are our business. This … [Read more...]

We need to keep a little Christmas!

December 2, 2015 By Lenora Worth

It's the first day of December. I haven't even thought about decorations. I needed a Christmas gift bag this morning for a luncheon I was attending where we exchanged gifts and I remembered everything was up in the attic and I don't have the upper-body strength to bring down the heavy door. When You Can’t Be Silent Any Longer

August 24, 2015 By Deborah Raney

This past Saturday morning, Ken and I stood in front of Planned Parenthood in Wichita, Kansas with about two hundred other people in a peaceful protest against the horrors that have been exposed recently about Planned Parenthood. I was fifteen-years-old, and I fell in love with Marty, Clark and little Missy. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of other Christian fiction. During that stage in my life, most of my reading included books like The Thornbirds or … [Read more...]

Leaving a Legacy

August 1, 2014 By Jody Hedlund

Last weekend my family packed into our little mini-van and drove eight hours to visit my grandma in Iowa and celebrate her 95th birthday. Let me tell you, it's not easy scrunching eight of us (including my mom) along with all our bags and backpacks into our van, especially because I have three growing teens. I heard plenty of "You're taking up all the room" and "It's hot back here" and "When is … [Read more...]
