We need to keep a little Christmas!

December 2, 2015 By Lenora Worth

It's the first day of December. I haven't even thought about decorations. I needed a Christmas gift bag this morning for a luncheon I was attending where we exchanged gifts and I remembered everything was up in the attic and I don't have the upper-body strength to bring down the heavy door. I was home alone. I searched the house and found one sad little Christmas bag in the top shelf of my closet. … [Read more...]

Why do we love Christmas movies so much?

November 18, 2015 By Lenora Worth

Sometimes having a lot of cable channels on my television sure comes in handy. Usually, TV can be a big distraction. But this time of the year, television becomes a blessed part of my life. That's because the holiday season begins and several popular cable channels play Christmas movies 24/7.  And I do mean all day and night long! This is a special time of the year so it's fun to celebrate with … [Read more...]

Two new novellas and a whole lot of learning

November 4, 2015 By Lenora Worth

I have so much to be thankful for this month! I've been published in traditional commercial fiction for twenty-two years now so I had to go kicking and fighting into Indie publishing. Hello. I just got back from the Novelist, Inc Conference which was held at the Tradewinds Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida. This year, the conference focused on Indy publishing and social media. I liken it to a gold rush. Some will strike it rich, some will find a few good nuggets and some will keep panning for crumbs. The buzzwords were all about discoverability, distribution, diversification, … [Read more...]

These boots are made for walking

September 16, 2015 By Lenora Worth

So yesterday was National Bootie Day. I'm not sure if that was real or a marketing ploy to get me to buy more boots. I love boots so I usually get a new pair each fall. This weekend I found a pair of sixties inspired black zipper booties. I'll have to pull out my bell bottoms to wear with those. I thought it would be fun to reminiscence about boots. Did you wear them as a child? Do you wear them … [Read more...]
