Amazing Women in God’s Word

April 1, 2025 By Tamera Alexander

This weekend I had the amazing privilege of teaching at the Perinton Community Church's Womens Retreat (Rochester, NY). What a fabulous group of women... We laughed, we cried, we shared our stories. But mostly, we feasted on God's Word and immersed ourselves in what Jesus says about forgiveness in Luke 15—all while looking at these three parables through a middle eastern lens, which … [Read more...]

My last D was in QBA!

March 18, 2025 By Tamera Alexander

The last D I made was in college in QBA—Quantitative Business Analysis, and even then I think my Harding University professor (Dr. Priest) had mercy on me after so many hours of private tutoring. As he wrote, he found himself sharing lessons he hopes to one day teach each of them himself, Lord willing. Yet knowing that none of us will be here forever, he was grateful for the opportunity to put pen to paper. Early on, I read his first few … [Read more...]

Ode to My Latest Amazon Finds

February 4, 2025 By Tamera Alexander

I got so tickled at Angie's post yesterday when she wrote about her velveteen pants from Amazon. If you didn't read her Ode to My Stretchy Velveteen Pants, please do! It'll make you smile. Now to continue the Amazon thread... While I don't own a pair of stretchy Velveteen Pants—yet!—I do have some favorite Amazon items I've ordered (and reordered) recently. #1 Do we have any candle … [Read more...]
