Deborah Raney

DEBORAH RANEY's first novel, A Vow to Cherish, inspired the World Wide Pictures film of the same title and launched Deb’s writing career. Forty books later, she's still creating stories that touch hearts and lives. Her novels have won RWA's RITA Award, the ACFW Carol Award, the National Readers Choice Award, and the HOLT Medallion. She is also a three-time Christy Award finalist. Deb is on faculty for several national writers’ conferences and served on the executive board of the 2,500-member American Christian Fiction Writers organization for 18 years before retiring in 2022. She is a recent transplant to Missouri, having moved with her husband, Ken Raney, from their native Kansas to be closer to kids and grandkids. They love road trips, e-biking, Friday garage sale dates, and breakfast on the screened porch overlooking their wooded backyard.

Must admit, Robin, I’m a fan of the cover on Love Without End. It could be my backyard in Colorado! Thanks for sharing your inspiration spots with us.

Your garden is absolutely beautiful! We have a frog in a car as well, love to see the wheels spinning. We bought our Grandkids a pink Cadillac with the spinning wheels and a big neighborhood dog got ahold of it and ripped it to shreds! I’m also partial to papillons. Yours is beautiful. We had one that looked just like yours but when we found out our granddaughter was allergic to dogs we had to adopt her out. It was a sad day…..

I absolutely LOVE your garden. I hope you get to spend many happy hours there, enjoying God’s masterpieces.
Just think. Such tiny seeds grow into the most beautiful flowers.
We were seeds in God’s hands. I wonder what we will grow into under His care. Some of us need pruning. Some just a little extra TLC. And we just need to be bathed in the light of the Son.
