Each Sunday “Inspired by Life…and Fiction” shares a Christian novelist’s newest book and the garden spots where they find inspiration.
After spending years clearing sagebrush and wrestling wind and rattlesnakes on their ranch in a remote part of Oregon, Willa Award-winning author Jane Kirkpatrick and her husband Jerry are back in central Oregon. Jane has brought some reminders of her homesteading days to the new place she calls home, including the beautiful garden stones in the photo below. Jane’s newest novel is Where Lilacs Still Bloom. You can find out more about Jane and her many novels at www.jkbooks.com.

Your landscaping is beautiful. I too love lilacs. White lilacs are somewhat rare are they not? I have 3 bushes of the purple shade. Where lilacs bloom sounds like a book I should read.

What a wonderful garden to escape to. It’s lovely, but I know it didn’t just happen. The work and love that went into it show.
I highly recommend Jane’s books!
