Time to Celebrate…20 Books!

November 26, 2024 By Julie Klassen

When my first novel, Lady of Milkweed Manor, released nearly 17 years ago, I didn’t think ahead and imagine I’d have twenty books someday, I was just thankful to have one!

I know lots of authors have written many more novels (including several authors here on Inspired by Life and Fiction) but I am still so very thankful. Being a published author is my lifelong dream come true. And being an author of twenty published novels? That calls for a celebration in my book. (Pun intended.) 🙂

If you happen to live near Minneapolis-St. Paul, I invite you to join me for the launch of my new novel, The Seaside Homecoming. Since we’ll be celebrating the release of my 20th novel, there will be cake and small gifts!

(Photos from the 2023 Release Party—Don’t worry; no crowns this year.)

I’ll hope to see you there:

Tuesday, December 3, 2024, 7- 8 pm central time

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2100 Snelling Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113

My talk starts at 7:00. Come early to grab a chair and visit. Too far to attend? You can watch a livestream on my Facebook page.

Either way, my sincerest appreciation to all of you—fellow writers and loyal readers alike—who have supported and befriended me during my writing journey. And thank you for reading my books!

Congratulations, Julie! What a remarkable accomplishment! I’ve only read a couple of your books so far (and have loved them!), but am looking forward to reading more before the Mississippi River Reader Retreat next summer.

What a wonderful milestone, Julie! Congratulations! I haven’t read all 20, but I’ve read several and really enjoy your writing. I have something else on my calendar Dec. 3 😕 but I hope they might record the livestream!

Congratulations Julie! I have read and enjoyed them all. I have pre-ordered the new one and looking forward to reading it with a friend.
Since I live in Virginia, I will not be able to make it to the party, but will try to watch. Have a great time!
    Also, happy Thanksgiving.

Dear Julie, I have read nearly all of your novels at least once and have loved them! My favorite ones are the Ivy Hill series; I’ve re-read them all! I recently re-read the first two of your Devonshire Shores books, to refresh my memory (in preparation for your newest one coming out next week) and was amazed at how much I’d forgotten of the details – which goes to show, it’s also fun to re-read one’s favorite books! I pre-ordered the 3rd book (back in the summer!) from Christianbooks.com and they’ve just sent me an email saying it’s been shipped, which is great! Thanks so much for many fun hours I’ve had when reading your books; they are never a disappointment!!!
