Romantic Times Booklovers Convention—Atlanta, here we come!

April 26, 2017 By Tamera Alexander

If you live in or near the Atlanta area, I, along with a slew of my author buddies, would love to see you!

We’re all attending the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention at the Atlanta Hilton (a ticketed event) and will be involved in several special events on May 4th (TH) and May 5th (FR). Including two big publisher-sponsored events! #RT17

I’m excited to be on an author panel with these four writing buddies! Tons of giveaways—and gift-stuffed “Thanks for Reading Goodie Bags” for the first 50 attendees.

Bethany House and Revell Publishers are holding a fabulous Books! Chocolate! Authors! event that day too!

Another great author panel happens that afternoon. (Pay no attention to that heckling comment. I’ll be sweet. Ahem…)

Bright and early Friday morning, Harper Collins Christian Publishing is hosting a Sweet Romance Morning Coffee Break! I’ll be there along with these other HCCP authors, and we’ll be meeting readers and giving away tons of free books. After all, it’s a booklovers convention!

Here’s a view of the HCCP breakfast room back in 2015!

We’re showing off the “bling rings” everyone received as they came in the door

Interested in learning more about the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention and how to register? Visit here.

What’s the last conference, convention or retreat you’ve attended (whether writing related or not)? And what did you enjoy most about it?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Tammy

Did you know…

I’m currently giving away three copies of To Whisper Her Name, a Belle Meade Plantation novel (book 1), on Goodreads!

I’ll be at the Belmont Mansion this Sunday, April 30 (1 PM – 3 PM) chatting with visitors and signing copies of the Belmont Mansion novels—and I’d love to see you there!

That looks like such a fun convention! Wish Atlanta was closer to Charlotte, NC! I attended the CFRR in Nashville last summer and had the opportunity to hear you speak, but did not meet you. I am attending again in August. Perhaps you will be there as well! It was so much fun!

Oh! So sorry we didn’t get a chance to meet, Rebecca. I wanted to come to Cincinnati this year but had a schedule conflict. But maybe next year! I know y’all will have a blast!

The last retreat I attended was for “Church Librarians” at Lake Yale, near Leesburg Florida.
Classes are all day long for 5 days and you come away with all kinds of ideas for your church library.
Plus you get 3 meals a day and any day I don’t have to cook is a good one.

How fun, Janet. Sounds like a blast! #lovelibrarians
