Carnton Video Shoot (for The Carnton Novels)

May 21, 2019 By Tamera Alexander

Last Wednesday and Thursday, I met my HarperCollins Christian Publishing team out at Carnton in Franklin, TN, and we shot several videos for The Carnton Novels. Which are, so far: Christmas at Carnton, a novella, and With This Pledge, to be followed next year with the second full length novel (that I'm finishing as we speak) and then the third and final full length novel in the series. Incredible Blessings . . .

May 7, 2019 By Tamera Alexander

This past week has been a full one, and it was filled with some wonderful—and not-so-wonderful—moments. I was reminded at nearly every turn of the brevity of life and of how incredibly blessed I am! We’ve seen and done so much, yet it’s still surreal to be here. To walk where Jesus walked.  But what has made the biggest impression on me is how much BETTER God is than I ever imagined. And how radical Jesus’s love was—and is! … [Read more...]

“You’re reading that? Really?!”

March 19, 2019 By Tamera Alexander

Have you ever had someone pick up a book you're reading and comment, "You're reading that? Really?" This happened to me recently, although I can't say I actually blame the person. It is a different sort of book. Holiness to the LORD: A Guide to the Expositions of the Book of Leviticus by Allen P. Ross, which was recommended to me by a preacher friend (waving to you, Dr. E). And I quickly … [Read more...]
