Memories of Israel & an encouraging event!

October 17, 2023 By Tamera Alexander

Israel is heavy on my heart, same as yours, I know. Heart-wrenching doesn't even come close, does it? My prayers are rising with yours for Israel and all the innocent Palestinians caught in this horrific conflict. Joe and I were supposed to leave this Friday for Israel, my second pilgrimage to "the land" as they say. But, of course, the trip was cancelled (same trip Robin was on) due to the … [Read more...]

Readers, Recipes, and Releases

October 3, 2023 By Tamera Alexander

I recently received this lovely note from Ruthi, a reader friend... Our Divine Divas Book Club read A Beauty So Rare and we met to discuss it last evening. Don't get me wrong, daily temps here in Nashville are still hovering in the high 80s/low90s, but this past weekend when we were walking the dogs one evening, there was a touch of cool in the air (high 60s) that was sooo fall like. So out came the bread loaf pans! A baking … [Read more...]

Totaled Truck & Treasured Memories

August 15, 2023 By Tamera Alexander

Okay, call me sentimental but when I cleaned out my truck this week, I got a little misty eyed. This faithful 2012 Ford F-150 has seen me through a lot, while also racking up a ton of miles. This truck carried me back and forth from Nashville to Atlanta nearly every week for two years while my precious Dad's health declined with dementia. It kept me safe when a deer decided to take … [Read more...]
