I Feel an Imprecatory Prayer Comin’ On . . .

March 17, 2025 By Angela Hunt

Growing up, I never heard anyone mention imprecatory prayers, which are mostly found in the Psalms. What are they? Imprecatory prayers are prayers in which you ask God to send calamity or hardship upon someone else. David was a man of great passion--he rejoiced with all his heart, and he prayed with all his heart. Like this: "Lead me, Adonai, in Your righteousness, because of my enemies. Make … [Read more...]

Happy book birthday!

March 3, 2025 By Angela Hunt

Today is release day for my novel THE DAUGHTER OF ROME, and I'll be busy all day videotaping (do we still say that if it's digital?) bits of "a day in the life" for AVID READERS OF CHRISTIAN FICTION's Instagram story feed. So I ordered three more pairs from Amazon--thank the Lord … [Read more...]

Welcome to Cold and Flu Season

January 20, 2025 By Angela Hunt

I don't look nearly as glamorous as this AI lady (but at least she has the right number of hands and fingers!), but I spent the month of December with a terrible cold. Woke up with a sore throat on Dec. 12th--I caught the bug from my hubby, I think. But he is always affected differently. His version of being sick is to come in and announce, "I'm not feeling too pure," then he might cough once. But … [Read more...]
