Fearless

October 16, 2017 By Lynn Austin

The real-life sisters, Agnes and Margaret Smith, who inspired my newest novel, “Where We Belong,” had a favorite motto that continues to intrigue me. Whenever they were in danger or in a precarious situation they would say, “God knows when the end of our days will be. We have nothing to fear.” I borrowed their motto for my fictional sisters, Becky and Flora Hawes, to use whenever they found … [Read more...]

Walking Out Our Faith

October 11, 2017 By Robin Lee Hatcher

Last month, I had the blessing of reading Tricia Goyer’s new book, Walk It Out. From the blurb: When women stop focusing on their own dreams and purposes, and instead focus on God’s dreams and purposes, everything changes.” Friends, may I just say, add this book to your reading list at once. And yet all I have on my heart and mind right now is my sweet Dad . . .   Me and Dad in July of this year. Love this man. I've been keeping the roads … [Read more...]

Another Year in BSF Begins

September 13, 2017 By Robin Lee Hatcher

Bible Study

This morning I begin another year (Sept-May) in Bible Study Fellowship. I attended my first study in BSF beginning in September 2000. We studied the book of Matthew that year, and oh, what a blessing it was. At that time, BSF had seven different studies. Today they have ten (five Old Testament and five New Testament). So if you are able to attend every year without a break, you finish … [Read more...]
