Refreshment for the soul

February 7, 2023 By Tamera Alexander

God is so faithful to give us what we need exactly when we need it—including moments of refreshment and rejuvenation. He's given me so many in recent weeks, along with such incredible joy in his Word! I hope these moments will refresh you too. And get ready! Because, in turn, I'd love to know what's been refreshing your soul. First is KRISTI MCLELLAND'S message at church last Sunday … [Read more...]

A Few Days of R&R

February 1, 2023 By D'Ann Mateer

From the last weekend in September of last year to the end of 2022, we hardly stopped. Some was planned travel. Some was not. Will you consider it overindulging if I share a couple of quick pics (or more) of Leo, our precious grandson? I hope not, because we are in absolute love with this little guy! Here are three pics from a recent photo shoot but let's count them as one since they're small and "tiled." : ) [Photo credit: Snaps by Sally] I just love Leo in this little burnt orange onesie (below)—and might … [Read more...]

Hello, Dolly! (The puppy, not the musical.)

December 7, 2022 By D'Ann Mateer

It’s been a long time coming, but we finally brought our new puppy home the Thursday before Thanksgiving. You might know from some previous mentions here or on social media that this wasn’t my idea. In fact, on social media posts about our puppy, I always include the hashtag #hismidlifecrisis. Because that’s the truth. But he doesn’t ask for much. And he really wanted a dog. And I love him, so I … [Read more...]
