This February has a couple of important dates for me. So naturally I want to share them with my friends on Inspired by Life and Fiction.
First, next Monday, February 9th, my 97th book releases. To Find Where She Belongs is book #5 in the British Are Coming series. I loved writing this story, and early readers are loving it too.
While I never admit to having a favorite book (all were written for a reason and are special to me in unique ways), I do admit to having some favorite couples.
Katie Jones and Ben Rafferty (Catching Katie) come to mind. I always envision Katie as a tiny dust devil swirling down Main Street and Ben following after her with a push broom, cleaning up the messes she leaves behind.
Then there are Cleo Arlington and Sherwood Statham (Fit To Be Tied). Tomboy Cleo, a wrangler on her father’s ranch, is tasked with turning a British lord into a cowboy. She think’s he’s as worthless as a milk bucket under a steer. They’re both in for a rough but fun ride.
Now comes Keely Boyle and William Overstreet. Irish housemaid Keely, hiding secrets from her past, just seems so perfect for steady, reliable William, the owner of Eden’s Gate Ranch. I’m pretty sure he could use a little shaking up in the romance department, and she is just the girl to do it.

Here’s what one early reader had to say about To Find Where She Belongs: “Robin presents a story completely unique from anything I’ve ever read. . . . This story isn’t a ‘the hero saved her’ type romance but a realistic, historical work of fiction. It was thoroughly enjoyable to read and a story I want to share with many friends and family. I cannot recommend this book enough.”
The second important date falls at the end of next week, on Valentine’s Day.
Fifty years ago, February 14, 1976 (which also fell on a Saturday) at approximately 6:00 AM, I gave my heart to Jesus. Many times in the Bible, God tells His people to REMEMBER. I think the 50th anniversary of my adoption into the family of God is a great time to look back and remember all that God has done in my life and all that He has taught me through those years. Including that He is faithful, patient, just, kind, wise, loving, and so very much more.

May you have plenty to celebrate this month too.

Hi Robin, those are important dates to celebrate! Congratulations on the new book. I loved the story. Fifty years walking with the Lord is something wonderful to celebrate too! I wish I knew the exact date of my salvation. I think it would be fifty-five years ago. Very special memories. God is so good to call us into His family!
Amen, Carrie.
Looking forward to this book. I have a shelf on my Goodreads page for Ireland and Scotland, where I list any book with Irish or Scottish characters or settings, because that is my heritage.
Congratulations on your 50 years with God. I hit a major birthday milestone in September. There are so many events in my life where I know God was there and exhibited all of the characteristics you shared as well as many more. I constantly rely on the scripture, “Be still and know that I am God.”
Happy 50th birthday as a daughter of God! That’s awesome!
And I’m so excited for the next book!
There is no better family than the family of God!! Thank you for your wonderful books.
Blessed dates to celebrate, Robin. The second anniversary is the reason the books you write are so wonderfully inspiring!
