Back when my kids were little, I had so much fun celebrating Valentine’s Day with them. They’d bring home the cutest projects…

I’d volunteer at their school parties and they’d exchange Valentines with their classmates. I’d make pink, heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast.

I’d use a photo of them and create a Valentine to send to family….

I also used these cards to invite my kids’ friends to a Valentine’s party I held at our house–complete with a treasure hunt, food, and more.
Mixed in with the sweet memories, are the funny ones. Like the year our ten-year-old choreographed a romantic dance for my husband and me. I fancy myself to be a decent dancer. But he is not. So we laughed all the way through. I had the same response when I watched the video back just now.

Or the year Valentine’s Day overlapped with “snowmageddon” in Dallas. Nothing says romance like being trapped inside your house with stir-crazy kids all day because the roads are impassable.

I’m in a different season with my kids now that they’re 25, 22 & 16. But I still love Valentine’s Day and there are three simple traditions that I’ve kept alive. 1) I put out some cute Valentine’s Day decorations at the start of February. 2) I always give the kids a heart-shaped box of See’s chocolates for Valentine’s Day. 3) Inside their Valentine cards, my husband and I write out how proud we are, how grateful we are to be their parents, and how much we love them.

Now, let’s talk about my Valentine’s Day gifts to YOU.
I wrote a short story about the hero and heroine of my book, Memory Lane! This story functions as a bonus second epilogue. In Let It Snow you’ll catch up with Remy and Jeremiah after their “happily ever after” on their first Valentine’s Day together. I hope it makes you smile!
You’ll find that story (and many others) HERE, in the latest issue of Spark Flash Fiction.

Because I write heartwarming love stories, I hope that they’re ALL the type of books readers might be in the mood to read at this time of year. But I’m offering a giveaway today of the four books of mine that have either pink or red on their covers.

Undeniably Yours — the love story of a down-to-earth cowboy and a wealthy heiress.
Her One and Only — my bodyguard romance (except the bodyguard is the heroine). 😉
Sweet on You — a friends-to-lovers romance starring a chocolatier and a writer. (Note that the ebook of this novel is enjoying a Valentine’s sale and is currently priced at just $4.99!)
Rocky Road — my fake dating romance between a buttoned-up FBI agent and a free-spirited perfumer.

To enter the giveaway for a signed paperback copy of one of the above novels, simply leave a comment on this blog post, letting me know which of these four books you’d like to win. I’ll randomly select two winners on Tuesday and notify the winners via email. USA only please.
I hope you have a very happy Valentine’s Day!

I enjoy reading your books. Thank you for so many great stories!
I’d love to win Rocky Road. 🙂
Any of the four books would be a joy to read, however, if I had to pick just one I would pick Sweet on You.
I would pick Rocky Road. Thanks for the chance.
I enjoyed reading how you celebrated Valentine’s Day through the years. I like decorating for Valentine’s, especially my table. I even have a heart shape waffle maker.
I’d love to win Sweet on You.
Thank you
I think my church library patrons would like to read Sweet on You.
I’ve read many of your books, and they are all heart warming and fun!
Sweet, Becky! Love those traditions.❤️ (no need to enter me in the giveaway)
Valentine’s Day is a nice way to brighten up February. Here in Wisconsin, winter tends to get old and there aren’t always signs of spring yet (though this year, it’s going to be in the 40’s, which is definitely spring-like!). I would pick Her One And Only.
Good morning. Love 💕 how you celebrate Valentine’s Day in New exciting 💕 ways each year. If my name is picked, I would choose Her One and Only – why does she have a bodyguard guard and how does the romance get started. Have a beautiful and wonderful time celebrating Valentine’s Day. May the Lord bless you and keep you and your family in His everlasting arms and give you all His peace.🌹
Valentine’s Day will always hold a special place in my heart. My parents met on a blind date and were married 7 days later on Valentine’s Day. They were blessed with just shy of 60 years together and loved each other just as much on the last day as on the first.
If I were fortunate enough to be selected, I would love the opportunity to read and review ROCKY ROAD. Thank you so much for the chance to win a copy!
I met my husband on a blind date and thought we were quick to marry four months later.
Happy Valentine’s Day!Ever since I had my first “real” job, I’d take my parents out for Valentine’s Day. I miss those days! I’d like Undeniably Yours if I’m picked! Thanks for the chance!
I would love to win a copy of your book,
“Rocky Road”.
I’m sure you are talking about Romance but to me,
Rocky Road means Ice Cream.
Thanks for entering me in your giveaway.

I’d love to read Her One and Only.
Happy Valentine’s Day! I’d like to win Sweet on You!
I would love to read Sweet on You or Rocky Road.
Thanks for sharing your valentine pictures and stories – such fun! When my children were young, we were usually away from home since my husband was in the Marine Corps. I had them make valentine shadow boxes inside gift boxes and mailed them to their grandparents. After we settled down, I was a 5th grade teacher and let my students decorate brown paper bags and hang along the bottom of the blackboard for their valentines the next day.
I would choose Undeniably Yours. I really enjoyed Sweet on You and that whole series. Thanks for such a nice giveaway.
Memories. Such a blessing to remember those wonderful times we shared with our loved ones. My mom was born two days before Valentine’s Day. My siblings and I were reminiscing via group chat all day yesterday with all our wonderful memories. Our mother no longer knows us, but we know her and those memories are precious. Thank you for sharing yours.
All those books look good. If I were to buy one today, I would choose undeniably yours or Rocky Road.
I loved reading all of those books but Rocky Road is my pick. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would like to win Rocky Road.
I would love to read Her one and Only! Thanks for the chance.
They all sound so good! I am torn between Undeniably Yours and Rocky Road! Love cowboys & FBI! I will pick Undeniably Yours please, I think! Thank you for the chance!!!
Wow! It is so hard to choose a book. I think I would love them all. If I am forced to choose, I would go with Rocky Road. Happy Valentine’s Day!
I think I’d choose Sweet on You if I absolutely had to choose!! They all sound really awesome!!
Love, love your books! Probably Rocky Road because i have it in kindle form and audio book, and I know i love it and would like to have the paperback. Although, really any of them would be awesome to win. I might have to go buy one of those others on kindle for myself for Valentines day.
