NEVER LEAVE ME, the much-anticipated sequel in my Waters of Time series is hitting shelves this week!
So far, early readers have been loving this second time-crossing novel. In fact, one reader said this:
“Never Leave Me is one of my most anticipated sequels and it does not disappoint! Once again, author Jody Hedlund weaves a compelling, intelligent, page-turning story full of symbolism, healing, miracles, time-travel in another amazing “what-if” story. I could not put it down!”
In NEVER LEAVE ME, Harrison Burlington, a brilliant scientist, is left to pick up the pieces after experiencing the devastating loss of longtime friends. With his power and wealth, Harrison continues the search for more holy water, with the hope of saving the woman he secretly loves, Ellen Creighton, who is dying of a genetic disease.
Ellen’s prognosis is grim, and the doctors agree she doesn’t have long to live. She resigns herself to her fate. But Harrison only grows more desperate to save her. When Harrison finds two flasks of holy water, he sets into motion events that changes both his and Ellen’s lives forever and sends them on an adventure of a lifetime.
It’s my desire that readers will come away from both books in the series with a greater fascination and appreciation for history. And maybe in the process, they’ll also wonder if crossing time is more possible than they’d ever believed!
I hope that you’ll decide to take a chance on this new time-crossing genre! You never know, you just might find yourself swept away in the rivers of time!
If you’d like the chance to WIN a copy of NEVER LEAVE ME, I’m giving away a copy here on the blog to celebrate the book’s release. Enter the Rafflecopter below for a chance to win!

Hello! I’ve binge read your books this Christmas season. Like 20 of them—in December alone. Sitting in so many of your works in a small period of time feels like a glimpse into your heart and prayers. It has been inspiring, convicting and comforting as I take on this new year. Thank you for that. <3
If I could time travel anywhere I’d go to the London or Chicago World Fairs. There’s something about the innovation, energy, hope and determination that I’d love to witness first hand.
Also visiting lands before colonization would be beautiful. Or in early homesteading years where I could live with just a mountain for daily company.
I’d also give everything I own to be Mary’s neighbour after the flight to Egypt. I feel like there would be no better teacher of theology than a little Jesus toddling after his mother w the laundry.

It would thrilling to me to be able to travel back to the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. It would be fabulous to see first hand the things and places as they were as seen by my grandparents and parents.

Congratulations on the book release! This one looks completely irresistible, and I love a good time slip! I pinned on Pinterest and will share on Instagram also. I’d love to slip back to the WWI era, or even WWII and the 1940s. There’s so much about those wartime eras that I just can’t even fathom, and it would be unbelievable to spend time with my Gramma as a baby or as a young woman.

Have so many places and times I’d like to travel back in time to see – Biblical eras, medieval, renaissance, roaring ’20’s, and on and on. Would also like to go back in time to see my grandparents who I never met, but died tragically (house fire and car wreck) long before I was born. Win or no, I’ll definitely be reading this book as I couldn’t put down the first one.
