Love Down-home Southern Cooking?

November 15, 2022 By Tamera Alexander

Just in time for Thanksgiving! If you're looking for down-home, delicious Southern Cooking, meet Tammy of Collard Valley Cooks in South Georgia! Delightful. Unpretentious. And a fabulous Southern Cook. That's Tammy (and Chris, her husband, who does the videoing)! I don't exactly remember when I ran across Tammy's YouTube channel. It's been a while. We’ll always have Paris

November 1, 2022 By Tamera Alexander

Last Tuesday was such a fun day! Deb (Raney) my dear friend and writing critique partner for some 20+ years now and I met at a midway point for a visit—and that place happened to be Paris, TN! Because when I was pregnant with our first child, I had no idea how deep and wide and all encompassing my love for my children would be. This past weekend we had a baby shower for our son Kurt & daughter-in-law Kellie—and … [Read more...]

Challenge Accepted

September 20, 2022 By Tamera Alexander

About five years ago, I accepted a challenge from a friend who had made it her personal goal not to watch more TV than she spent time in God's Word. Accepting that challenge has changed my life. I had long been a student of God's Word, but over the past few years I've fallen more and more in love with His Word—and deeper in love with Christ. My hunger and thirst for knowing God—not just … [Read more...]
