I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

July 2, 2015 By Karen Witemeyer

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to participate in a multi-author book signing in Fort Worth, TX. I usually only do one book signing a year, by myself, at my local Christian store in Abilene. Book signings are a great way to maintain relationships with bookstore managers and staff and it is always fun to meet the dedicated fan who is excited to get an autographed copy of your book. … [Read more...]

The Redcoats are Coming!

June 18, 2015 By Karen Witemeyer

We had a great contingent of Inspirational authors this year, led by our own Tammy Alexander. Tammy kept us organized and on task, and helped us shine our light at a convention dominated by … [Read more...]

May 7, 2015 By Karen Witemeyer

All authors have their favorite go-to research books. Each new story I write requires delving into specifics for that particular time, setting, and character professions. But I also need more general research information. Information on fashion, transportation, household furnishings, etc. Research to help me create an accurate story world through the items my historical characters encounter in … [Read more...]
