New Jobs and Conference Time

September 17, 2015 By Karen Witemeyer

Last month, I shared a post about the change I was facing in my day job. (If you didn't see it, you can read that post here.) Well, I'm happy to announce that I survived the transition! Or at least I have so far. This is my first week in the new job. I've been busy with training and learning new systems and have been on the phone with the Help Desk about 47  times to get all my technology working … [Read more...]

The Beauty of Common Grace Brought to Fruition

August 26, 2015 By Robin Lee Hatcher

Our church is working its way through the book of 1st Corinthians at present, and this past Sunday the sermon was focused on spiritual gifts. The full-time job I've known for the last 12 years of my life fell victim to … [Read more...]

First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition … [Read more...]

Delayed Promises

July 7, 2015 By Tamera Alexander

"God's promises, even though delayed, are not endangered. Danger and doubt don't change his promises." I jotted that note down a few weeks ago in church when one of our pastors was sharing from the Word, and I've thought of it several times since. The fact that God doesn't change, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow has long been a comfort to me—and it's becoming more so all … [Read more...]
